Appointments
Massage Therapy is very detoxifying and if you do not have enough water in your body to flush the toxins, you can feel a variety of symptoms post treatment including headaches, nausea, muscle soreness and fatigue. These are all symptoms of toxicity and can be easily remedied by drinking 8-10 glasses of water the day before, the day of and the day after your massage.
When you book an appointment for Tui Na massage, please wear loose comfortable clothing, as you will remain clothed for the entire session.
If you would prefer us to bill your insurance company or have recently been in a motor vehicle accident, please make sure you have a written prescription from your medical doctor, chiropractor or naturopathic physician for Massage Therapy. Also, please go to the Patient Forms menu and download, print and fill out all of the pages and bring them to your first appointment. If you are unable to do this from your home computer, please let us know and we will have the paperwork ready for you at your first appointment.
*Please note this may reduce the massage time available your first visit depending on how long it takes you to fill out the paperwork.
